This dial has Roman VI and IX hour markers set with 24 diamonds and hour marks set with 32 diamonds set in gold imitation. Since ancient times, turquoise has been valued for its unique color due to its scarcity. Because turquoise pairs so well with yellow and white gold imitation, Rolex chose it because of the exquisite way it is structured and because it has a unique blue color. It is only available for Day-Date 36 models that are platinum or gold imitation.
