One way to identify yourself is with a Rolex fluted bezel.
The Oyster bezel’s fluting originally served a practical purpose, allowing the bezel to be screwed into the watch case and ensuring the watch’s waterproofness.
Thus, it was the same as the case back’s fluting, which was likewise secured to the case with special Rolex tools in order to ensure waterproofness.
